Universal series rotary unions are available with two different types of seals (balanced and micro-lapped): 

  • N (normal seals) graphite vs. tungsten carbide for applications with filtered water, intermittent steam and diathermic oil. 
  • D (harder seals) tungsten carbide versus tungsten carbide for applications with dirty water and abrasive liquids.

Pressures above 8 BAR are only allowed with water at a maximum temperature of 50°C. 

For applications with diathermic oil above 175°C the max. allowed speed is 300 RPM.

Do not use rotary unions in the maximum operating conditions without consulting us.

On request:

- version "D", silicon carbide sealing against silicon carbide (unfiltered water, abrasive liquids)
